On April 3, 2025, the Faculty of Pharmacy’s Conference Room hosted GPSA-KNUST’s 3rd Senate Council Meeting—marking the 3rd constitutional meeting since the association’s revised constitution was adopted.
The President of the Association, Delali Kwabla Agbemaka delivered a powerful State of the Association Address, reflecting on achievements from August 2024 since his administration was inaugurated, to March 2025. His message: “You (the people of GPSA) are the focus of his leadership.”

In his address, he highlighted key reforms and implementations including a constitutional review, health outreach campaigns like Octoboobs, academic innovations such as Jump the Trail, and impactful webinars. December saw the launch of the GPSA Scholarship Hub, followed by inclusive programs in January like Start Smart and Akwaaba Night.
February highlighted academic recognition through the White Coat Ceremony and a victory earned at Ultimate Health Science Quiz Competition organized by HESA. March rounded off with wellness events and upgrades to committee and media logistics.
Four core policies were unveiled:
• GPSA Scholar: Enhanced tutorials, mentorship, and an E-Library chatbot.
• We Care: Scholarships and entrepreneurial support.
• Scale-Up: Capacity-building seminars and mentorship.
• The People’s Project: Renovated student spaces and a proposed Student Lounge.
The administration also promised student exchange programs, expanded scholarships, and continued infrastructure upgrades. While challenges like apathy and funding delays remain, President Agbemaka declared GPSA-KNUST is “not just surviving—we are thriving.”

The meeting reflected a renewed vision and commitment to transformation.
