The Pulse Dinner and Awards, a maiden collaborative dinner between the Ghana Pharmaceutical Students’ Association (GPSA) and the Medical Students’ Association (MSA), was held successfully at the Greenwood Event Center. Commencing the grandeur of the evening was the red carpet reception. It rolled out the glamour giving invitees the perfect runway to show off their stunning outfits and hit their best model moves to a sea of flashing cameras creating lifelong memories.

As with most events, the participation was dampened at the start with many engaging in embraces with others from the rendezvous and others staring at new faces and outfits. However, things did take a turn after some fun ice breakers such as “Complete the Lyrics” with spoken word and music performances serving as the spark that ignited the room. The centerpiece of the evening, the dinner, unfolded as a delicious procession of courses. The meal began as tantalizing appetizers, built to a crescendo with truly spectacular main dishes and concluded with decadent desserts. The taste of the food rated five-stars with sounds of laughter and contented sighs around the table serving as testament to how thoroughly everyone
enjoyed every bite.

The A-priority of the evening was the Awards Ceremony. Here, outstanding students were honored across various categories including lady and gentleman of the year, face of pharmacy (both male and female), most influential female and male, most
popular female and male, committee of the year as well as senator of the year. To top it all, certificates of recognition were presented to commendable students.

The Handing Over Corner featured an official handing over of the 2024/2025 GPSA administration to the newly elected executives. It also included a special presentation from the Rx30 class to the outgoing president. Culminating this session was a violinist performance setting a spellbinding tone for the entire evening. The event closed with music and dance with several others immortalizing their memories in series of photographs. Beyond the formalities, it also provided a refreshing opportunity for students to relax, network, and strengthen bonds. The dinner was a resounding success and a milestone of unity and recognition between the two associations.
