The primary goal of the Academic board is to oversee the academic-related activities of the association and to ensure that the student populace is provided with the needed assistance when it comes to their academics. The committee consists of representatives chosen from each year group, a chairperson, and two deputies. Over time, several activities have been organized to ensure students succeed in their academic endeavors. Notable among them is the JUMP THE TRAIL initiative, which has been very successful over the years with the main aim of reducing the number of trails and also helping students pass their trailed papers should the unfortunate happen
In addition to peer-led tutorials organized for each class every other week online in-person tutorials are organized to help students prepare adequately for the mid-semester and end-of-semester examinations.
The committee is responsible for providing students with concise lecture materials and sample questions on topics for the semester. The committee has also been responsible for compiling study materials and making such materials available to the student body. There are loads of other initiatives the committee is working very hard on to bring to fruition to the Pharm. D. program to make it less burdensome.
