The thread ‘woven’, creating a pattern in all students under the Health Science Students’ Association was able to create beautiful patterns in the students of Ghana Pharmaceutical Students’ Association as well. The evening was filled with so much thrill enabling fantastic opportunities to connect, celebrate and enjoy each other’s company in a relaxed setting. GPSA’s presence at the college students association dinner, Woven, was a successful engagement initiative.

The decision to send delegates reflects scheduling conflicts, as many invitees were also expected at other dinner events and because of this, the delegates to the college’s dinner arrived after the commencement of Woven. The delegation’s significance was underscored by the presence of several distinguished figures, including Clifford Amoah-Takyi, the current GPSA president Albert Ströefer Kobina Yalley, and former GPSA president Kofi Antwi. Upon their arrival, they projected a commanding aura of authority and experience that instantly quieted the room and drew the collective focus of the attendees. This palpable sense of gravitas did more than just garner attention; it unequivocally secured recognition for the GPSA, establishing their influential role in the proceedings from the very outset.

The dinner did include the usual celebrations, music, jams, dances and many fun activities including the presentation of awards and citations. One of which was the presentation of a citation to the former GPSA president Kofi Antwi by the 8th HESA president, His Excellency Samuel Tampanga Wepeah, awarding him for his immense contribution, assistance and support to him throughout his administration. This citation was a huge applaud for GPSA and set a tone of excellence throughout the room.

Woven concluded with the evening seamlessly transitioning into festive social gatherings. With drinks and more music, the attendees including the delegates enjoyed invaluable informal tie to connect with colleagues from the other departments, strengthening the college-wide community.
