Following an impactful and exciting Drug Safety Campaign which was hosted by the Ghana Pharmaceutical Students’ Association (GPSA-KNUST), the Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (PSFGh) paid a significant visit to the Ghana Pharmacy Students’ Association at KNUST (GPSA-KNUST) on the 14th of October, 2025. The delegation was led by the immediate past President of PSFGh, Miss Manuella Coffie, who was accompanied by her former Vice President, Master Stephen Elvis Baba Atanga, and the immediate past Health and Project Officer, Israel Kwame Panford. The visit occurred following a transition in the federation’s leadership, with new executives having recently been voted into office.

The primary objective of the visit was to convey the federation’s profound gratitude for the remarkable effort and success in execution of the five-day Drug Safety Campaign event held at KNUST. However, the gesture extended beyond words of appreciation. In a tangible show of support for future initiatives, the PSFGh delegation presented a generous donation of medicines. This contribution was specifically intended to bolster the association’s ongoing and future mini drug safety campaign initiatives.

The donation was graciously received by the GPSA President, Master Albert Kobina Valley, alongside the immediate past President, Master Delali Kwabla Agbemaka. This collaborative act served as a powerful testament to the strong, enduring partnership between PSFGh and GPSA-KNUST. It underscored a shared commitment to promoting critical drug safety awareness within the community, demonstrating that leadership transitions only strengthen their unified mission.
