The Electoral Commission of the PSFGH scheduled the federation’s delegates elections for the 28th of October to allow delegates exercise their electoral rights as enshrined in the Constitution to elect new executives to steer the affairs of the federation.

Three members of GPSA KNUST namely, Miss Pearl Awo Akofa Boso, Miss Afia Kyeiwaah Boateng and Master Samuel Kwesi Tenkorang Acheampong aspired for Editor-In-Chief, General Secretary and President, respectively. After the first round of voting, Miss Pearl Awo Akofa Boso emerged as the Editor-In-Chief elect securing 53.95% of the total votes cast. Miss Afia Kyeiwaah Boateng emerged General Secretary Elect securing 53.95% of the total votes cast.

In the Presidential race, the candidates, Master Samuel Kwesi Tenkorang Acheampong of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and Master Bright Akomea Aboagye of Central University were level pegging with each aspirant securing 50% of the votes cast.

This necessitated a rerun of the election on the 30th of October, 2023 which ended with Master Samuel Kwesi Tenkorang Acheampong securing 62.34% of the votes cast and emerging President elect of PSFGH.
