The aroma of delicious food and the sound of happy friendship filled the air at Queens Hall, KNUST, on Sunday, November 16th, as the Lady Pharmacists Association of Ghana (LAPAG) hosted its highly anticipated “Flavors & Vibes Cookout” for its 32nd Anniversary. The event, which started at 1:00 PM, was a vibrant gathering that brought together practicing pharmacists
and the bright, upcoming talents from the Lady Student Pharmacists Association of Ghana (LASPAG). It was more than just a cookout; it was a celebration of community, mentorship, and shared passion for the pharmacy profession.

The best part of the afternoon was a kind but hard cooking competition between the LAPAG and LASPAG teams. Both teams brought their best effort, showing an amazing set of dishes that showed not only their cooking skills but also their bright ideas and teamwork. A thrill of excitement hung in the air, punctuated by the careful deliberations of the judges. At the close of the competition, the skilled Lady Pharmacists Association of Ghana (LAPAG) won, taking the wanted title! Nonetheless, throughout the competition, the LASPAG team also put up a great fight, showing that the future of pharmacy is in good and talented hands.

The true spirit of the day was one of unity and generosity. In a beautiful gesture that embodied the heart of LAPAG, all the food prepared for the competition was shared with all attendees. It was a powerful moment symbolizing the essence of ultimate uplifting through healthy competitions. The success of this memorable event was made possible by the generous support of partners such as the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana (PSGH), the Early Career Pharmaceutical Group (ECPG), the Ghana Registered Nurses’ and Midwives’ Association (GRNMA) and the Medical Women’s Association of Ghana (MWAG).
