The meeting was moderated by Sakina Sambo and Clifford Amoah Takyi, and it brought together about 200 participants, including GPSA students, The Dean, The Vice Dean and the Patron. The aim of the meeting was to officially kick off the year, talk about key issues affecting students, appreciate individuals who contributed to previous events, and set plans and standards for a successful year.

The agenda was packed and well-structured. It started with an opening prayer and opening remarks, followed by a review of past matters and a presentation on the current state of GPSA. Guest speakers were invited to give short addresses, and several students were recognized for their roles in previous events such as the “Jump the Trail” program, “Octoboobs” campaign, HESA Quiz, and HESA Debate. There was also a discussion session where important issues were raised and addressed, followed by announcements of upcoming events. The meeting ended with closing remarks and a prayer.
