The first rollout of the 360 Pharmacist Policy (an initiative proposed during the Antwi-Eduah-led political campaign) embodied by an event dubbed, “The Amicus Forum “, was delivered as promised to the people of GPSA-KNUST on the 2nd of February, 2024.
To recall, the 360 Pharmacist Policy as proposed in June 2023 by the incumbent president of this Association, promised to build the capacities of student pharmacists to enable them to grow to become holistically trained and apt professionals whose competencies remain relevant in an ever-changing world.

Thus, the Amicus Forum was simply the manifestation of a visionary policy by an innovative leader who is keen on delivering his promises to the people to whom he owes his mandate.
This intellectual forum was a collaboration between GPSA-KNUST and the New African Concept which is ably chaired by Pharm. Dr. Joshua Oppong Sarfo, an alumnus who also happened to be the guest speaker. The event had the aim of imbuing the mental faculties of young pharmacy students with the concept of The New Pharmacist as early as possible to effect a paradigm shift in the practice of our profession.
