On the 16th of March, 2024, GPSA members gathered at the Golden Lounge in SG Mall for a creative and engaging event – the Sip-and-Paint 2.0. The event, spearheaded by our dedicated Activity Coordinators, Kofi Boakye and Benoni Odame Larbi, aimed to provide an avenue for members to explore their artistic talents and express themselves through painting. The Editorial Board and Organizing Committee came together in the organization of the activity.
As the day unfolded, a vibrant atmosphere filled with excitement and anticipation enveloped the venue. The program kicked off with indoor games such as Chess, Uno, Scrabble, and more, setting a lively tone for the day ahead. The highlight of the event was the painting session guided by professional painters. Forty-eight eager painters picked up their brushes and let their creativity flow onto the canvases before them.
Amidst the artistic endeavors, contemporary music filled the air, creating a dynamic backdrop for the creative energy in the room. Spontaneous dance performances added a touch of joy and spontaneity to the event, encouraging participants to let loose and embrace the moment.
The success of the Sip-and-Paint 2.0 event was evident in the enthusiastic participation of 120-150 attendees who embraced the opportunity to unleash their creativity. The event not only provided a platform for artistic expression but also fostered a sense of community and shared experience among members.
